Celebrating Our Authors

In previous posts we saw how Ms. Simon's Class 1-4 were able to visit the library and work on a research project about animals.  The final product was a wonderful book about different types of animals.  See those posts HERE.

On May 5th the classes' parents had the opportunity to visit the library and celebrate what their children accomplished....even some little frosted animal crackers joined our celebration.

    The celebration was great. I am so proud of my students. Thanks Ms. Laluz for all the hard work that you did to help us complete this project, and for the great video.

    Congratulations on a job well done! The celebration was a wonderful success with so many parents coming out to celebrate their children's work.
    The children were so proud of the work that they accomplished as published authors. Thank you both for having the vision, for initiating and bringing this wonderful project and experience to our children.
